well, I'm sure that you have firefox or chrome right?
and well, live chess is beta. remember that.
not much other reason to have lag in places other than live. maybe you need new flash version or a faster CPU??

Well your probably using IE7 or IE6, with firefox you shouldnt haven any problems, I switched over and havent been disconnected and virtually no lag! So download firefox!
I rarely experience lag on live chess. It most likely is a problem exclusive to you, not the entire site.
my connections are great i play 1 minute on Icc all the time and i play the same speed and i never have problems like this.
I almost never have lag issues with live chess. It's hard to fault chess.com for connectivity issues that aren't experienced across the board.
I think that for some of the folks overseas, there's an obvious reason that they might experience lag. For the folks on the North American continent, the problem is likely something local. Either on your PC, your LAN (wireless perhaps?) or your internet connection itself. I can say with certainty that it isn't the incoming connection or the servers at chess.com or I'd experience the problem as well.
I wonder if Chess.com can have a feature which monitors lag - so you can see how much "lag" you have vs your opponent. It has to be doable, since ICC has that.
It's like I have to premove every move to win a bullet game.
