I am a 500 who beats 900s and 600s and 700s but I don't beat 800s

What is it about 800s that you find tricky? Also, if you can beat 600s, 700s, and 900s, why are you rated 500?

im 16 1700 and i hate playing against 1300s i always nearly lose

I am not at 800 yet, but I have experienced similar. Below 300 I found tricky. Progressing through 300 was not that hard though. Now in the 400's and I meet some pretty bad players. Maybe I have got a lot better, but I feel like I am advancing much quicker then I was when I was stuck below 300.

I swear there are more blunders in 400, then at the lower levels. They also fall for pretty obvious discovered attacks around 400. I like sneaky tactics at this elo, works well.
