Getting kicked from the server

I was playing a game with chazuk (our third), and when it became clear there was no way I'd lose, he stopped moving with about 13 minutes left on his clock.  When he had 8 or 9 left, I got disconnected from the server.  I was not able to reconnect, which is odd considering my internect connection is very, very good.  When I've been kicked from the server before, it's never been a probelm reconnecting.  Anyway, disregarding the faggotry of chazuk, is it common to be disconnected from the server for several minutes at a time, and if so is there anything I can change to prevent it from happening on my end?

There are still some connection problems with the Live Chess but the Chess.com team is working to fine tune the Live Chess to prevent being kicked from the Live Chess, especially while in a game.
