I've had this happen to me a few times. Of course I immediately add the person to my blocked list, but to deal with the waiting I just turn the sound up so I'll hear if they do eventually move, and turn on the news or read a chapter from whatever book I'm reading. Just because they want to waste your time, doesn't mean you have to let them make it a total loss.
