I'm still waiting to see a note on someone's profile to the effect of "Always plays black".
It's always funny to see the total ignorance of people who write that someone always plays white. Then I look at the person's profile and astonishingly they have 50/50 white/black. Funny that.
In Bullet chess I win 59% with white and 58% with black. I think I can live with a 1% disparity and won't cry the next time someone plays one game with white then "runs", which would be quite hard anyway since I never lower myself to grovelling for a rematch in the first place.

I wonder if you have a responsibility to accept rematch offers when playing live chess, or I guess a better way of putting it, is if it is custom to do so. My guess would be that you should always accept a rematch offer considering all the "runner" insult comments you get if you decline a rematch. But it would be interesting to know other peoples input on this topic. I usually accept rematch offers but sometimes you are in a hurry or for some other reason don't want to play against the same guy, or even just don't want to play another game.

It's bullet chess, one of the two types menioned and the one people usually whine about not getting a rematch in. Chess is defined by the pieces an the rules, the clock is irrelevant to whether something is chess or not in the same way that the distance is irrelevant to whether something is classed as running or swimming.

Indeed. I would advise the OP to do whatever he feels is cool with himself. If he has the time to rematch (whether or not he had the White pieces), personally think it's a moral thing...what have you.
I just disagree with some others decrying, "one n done" (especially if either or had the White pieces) simply because if it were OTB people would of course accommodate a rematch. Not so. Not even then would anyone automatically grant a rematch unless specified in advance. Please those whiners, don't use that excuse.
Even as White, I win, I alone decide if I want to play as Black. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. But it's not an obligation. If I'm Black, and I lose big-time, I don't whine about it. I know I'll catch you next time.
