What does it mean if my opponent has 1 minute left?

I have three of these. Are they on vacation? Or some grace period given to them? I can’t find anything on the game itself that identifies what is happening here. I’m fine with waiting but would like to know why I’m waiting.

Might be a bug

Just so nobody thinks my opponent is stalling, I’m up a pawn in one and even in the other two with us barely having gotten to the mid game stage. As to bug, maybe. I’ve been stuck in two of these for maybe a week and the other for four days.

It’s definitely a bug, let’s hope a moderator can try to fix it. Maybe try and contact staff directly?

There's a Daily Chess setting called Automatically claim victory when time runs out! and if that is toggled off, it won't automatically end non-tournamet game until 60 days have elapsed. There should be an option to Claim the win in that case. Or you can turn on that setting.

It's also possible that if the member is on your friend list that it won't automatically claim, but I'm not 100% site on that
