Staff member with over 80 games on vacation

During one of my three-day games, I noticed something intriguing: a player on vacation (with 50 days left) briefly turned off their status to make a move, then switched vacation back on. Curious about this odd behavior, I checked their opponent—none other than a chess.com staff member. After making a move, the staff member activated their own vacation mode (with 79 days remaining), resulting in both players being on vacation. To add to the intrigue, this staff member has over 80 active games going at once.

It's possible there is a perfectly reasonable explanation why this is happening. E.g. testing.

It very well could be testing. Also, premium, which includes staff, automatically get placed on vacation when low on one or more games so it is also possible they made a move in a game and then got automatically placed in vacation again before making moves in other games.
