Staff have been getting a lot of tickets so it could take a few more days.

So today i tryed to pay for a monthly membership for 8 dollars but payed 100 beacause the website set it to that by default and there was no confirmation at all. i just pressed a button and it charged 100 euros into my account. Is there anyway i could get a refund? I already applied for one a few mionutes ago but Im not sure if I will get one

Any help?

I’m pretty certain you’ll get a refund in that scenario. Just have to wait for them to get to your ticket.

I’m pretty certain you’ll get a refund in that scenario. Just have to wait for them to get to your ticket.

It can take a few days and potentially up to a week depending on how many tickets they have in their queues.

sorry my english is too average I forgot to cancel my free trial and accidently paid about 40 jod just today an hour ago 
I submitted a refund but I have some questions if you don't mind 
how long does it take and is it possible that they will refuse ?
if they made the refund are they going to give it straight back to my bank account 
I paid with credit not with apple does this make a difference ?
and what do you mean by this statement ""Once a member has received a refund they are no longer eligible for the 30-Day Money Back Guarantee""

It can take up to a week for support to get to your ticket, but will probably be sooner.

The refund will be applied to the payment method used and could take a few days to appear once the process has been completed.

If you use the 30-day guarantee and get a premium membership some other time, it's possible that you won't get a full refund in the first 30 days. In those instances, you may get a pro-rated refund.

Hello, I used the free trial diamond membership, and now I have automatically payed for the yearly subscription, I have canceled the membership but it still ends in a year, I really need a refund, anyone know how.

I was gifted a 15 day premium membership by support staff for making other helpful site-improving suggestions when I contacted them about an auto-mute. I am taking advantage if it (recently hit 3,000 in puzzles), but other than unlimited puzzles and accuracy scores I don't see the appeal of it. Even the unlimited puzzles you get for the medium membership, which I actually did for the first few years I was on the site before canceling.

20% of them were in the last week in the 6 years I've been on here genius. I also didn't use the site at all from the beginning of 2021 to March 2023.

Edit: I'm actually surprised the rating got that high, given how many of the puzzles are frequently flawed. It is very nit-picky about the solution, such as marking it wrong if you found a way to win the queen but there was a way you could have won the queen and a minor piece, or losing a huge amount of points for not seeing an absurdly long sequence of moves that wins a couple pawns. Some positions would still be easily winning but they technically weren't the best, you should still get some points for finding out how win. Sometimes after asking for the solution I still don't get what was accomplished.

I'm not sure the form gives an email reply or not.

You should get a confirmation email that your submission was received and they should get back to you within 2-3 days on average

Yo I need my money back. They took 93 dollars from my bank account without any warnings. I did a 7 day free trial and after it ended they took 93 dollars. I contacted chess support no one answered. Did I just lose 93 dollars for forgetting to cancel the membership to avoid auto renewel. What's the deal here?

The trial membership automatically converts if you don't cancel before the trial ends.

Since you have a ticket in to support, they'll respond, generally within 1-2 days
