Staffing is based on needs. During the holiday season, response times can be higher than normal but the site can't add more staff than it can support based on sustained workload and stay in business for long.

That's completely understandable. I do have a question, if you don't mind answering.

How many staff members are there to help, and how many support tickets are used per day on average?

That last monthly update says 23,000+ conversations, which I believe is the same as tickets. So that would be be over 760 a day on average. I don't know how many support staff members there are.

Hm... that sounds reasonable. So, if there are 38 members, they could get 20 issues resolved in an 8-hour workday, or at least respond to them. That seems like way too little support tickets to be ignored.

If this account doesn’t use chess.com for anything but its forum feature, it’s not that bad to just make a new account and keep trying to get the other one reopened instead of complaining. Again, whining is the wrong way to get customer service.
