Observing game/guessing moves

So, I was observing a game earlier this evening and guessing moves using the button for that function.  I assumed (uh oh ...) that me guessing moves and seeing how many I got right is only visible to me - not to either of the players.

Am I mistaken about that, and my guesses are also visible to the two people playing?

Thanks for any info.

Individual guesses are not seen by anyone else but if you're one of the top guessers, you can show on the results when they're periodically posted.

Yes, your guesses are not shown to the players during the game.

Whether or not they can see them afterwards, I don't know.

Okay thanks for the replies and for the helpful info, I sure appreciate it.

When watching players in "watch", I used to be able to guess their moves.
Now when I guess a move, it changes to "analysis" and I don't see the actual game.
What went wrong?

That feature has been removed.

It's only available for games on events.
