New People on Friend list I didn't accept

Some players I played against ( 2 in daily games and 1 in live games) are appearing in my friend list though I didn't receive or send any friend request. Has it become automatic somehow? Or any bug? I tried searching in forums or reddit but didn't get the solution. But I found an exact same question in reddit. There one staff from chees.com suggested the user to report it in the support section. I tried that too but only a bot appears and it's kind of unable to take my specific question. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Did you remove them? I'm not aware of anything that would automatically add friends

I removed the one from the live game but haven’t yet removed the ones from the daily games. I do accept game challenges, and I also forgot to mention that I accepted some game challenges from them that are still ongoing.

However, getting friend requests from players I played against multiple times is fine. But the feature isn’t just working for me. I know I can remove or block them anytime. I just wanted to understand what might be wrong.
