Scott, I don't know how you could get them registered and playing with discounted prices, but why not have them play real life chess?
I find used chess sets at Thrift Stores all the time. I buy them and use them for our chess club.

What do you mean registered? With chess.com or USCF?
A good idea is to find a reasonably strong player in your area, who has good people skills, who would be willing to come and do some coaching.
Scott,
We are interested in sending my son (almost 5 year old) to start with a chess club like the one you are thinking. Do let us know if you can get it started.
Thanks.

I will let you know Hui when it happens. We will be having some soccer camps and Tae Kwon Do this summer if that is of any interest to your son.

Oh, I see. Good luck. Let us know if you find out something helpful. Teaching kids chess is a big priority for me as well! Leslie

I run an inner city compassion center in Denver and am interested in starting a chess club for the kids ages 5 - 12 to start with. Is there a way that I can get the kids registered and playing with discounted prices? We have a computer lab so they can play. What else would we need?
