How do I get a second chance? (Banned account)

A friend of mine got his account banned I won't mention his name, but he wants to get a second chance and is very sorry for what he did and that he will not do it again. WHat should one do to get his account reopened? How does second chance work?

Well, on your question about this forum, in getting his account back:

  • He must go to chess.com support to reopen his account, in by doing so, it will be returned, but some modifications will be added by staff.
  • In opening the support, he might search account closures, and he will find a form about getting the account that he purposely lossed.
  • If you try asking the staff in getting your friend's account back, it might take a day or week to get his account. (PS: My opinion about this, so don't blame me.) Just like the first bullet sentence, the staff will add some modifications and he will have a second chance.
  • PS: If he does his own mischief, his account will be permanently banned by staff.

They then send me this which says that it is an appeal, but it's actually the opposite of an appeal... My friend does not want a new account but the account back, because it reminds him of so much...
