Can't see the board or the pieces

Tried logging into Chess.com today and I can no longer see the board.

Tried hard resetting (ctrl+f5) and clearing my cache, neither seemed to work.

You're not the only one.   I've tried multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox) on multiple PCs, and I'm seeing the same thing.   I'm a member of the Beta group, which is the only thing I can think of that might be central to this.

Same, it just happened all of a sudden today, idk why...

I just had to resign. Couldn't see half the pieces but I could grab the invisible squares.

Tried leaving beta, still the same issue, so it's not that ugh

Same problem here, for some reason I couldn't see the opponent's rooks or bishops.

I switched via vpn to usa - cured issue

have tried all of the suggested workarounds- multiple browsers .. etc.... still have problem

Half of the pieces are gone

I had this happen to me about 6 months ago on Chrome. For me the solution was to disable one of my extensions which was interfering with the layout of the pieces. 

Also, some dark colored based themes can also cause problems with pieces not being displayed correctly. 

From what I've seeing it is impacting some Canadian members and some from Portugal and appears to be related to the CDN the site uses to serve cached images from servers closer to members.

I live in Canada and it's happening to me. I also can't see some images in other parts of the website.

same ship over here. no peices.. while im in a knckout tournament...

Haha guess were all in the same boat. Some of the pieces werent loading for me and when i cleared my cache they all disappeared. Nothing seemed to work. When I inspect the browser a similar message appears over and over.

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

What to do?

Same here in Canada, played a few games yesterday just fine but today many of the images are gone.

Another Canadian who can't see the board. Tested across four browsers, cleared cache, internet files, etc, reset machine. No luck.

Seems Chess.com has something against us canadians

Same issue here, I can see the board and most of the pieces but every game there's at least a few invisible ones. Tried two games, one was missing the rooks, queen, c and g pawn, one was missing the knights, rooks, and queen. 

Also a Canadian who is experiencing this
