Cannot change username?

I don't know if this is normal, but every time I try to change my username, there is a blue bar that says, "To avoid confusion, you may not change your username while connected to Live Chess or registered for any Live Chess competition. Please try again after you are done playing." However, I am not logged into live chess/play and I'm also not registered in any tournament. Any ideas?
