Bots won't move, and Engine won't Analyze outside of full game

It's like my PC isn't doing any deep analyses anymore, it's happened for about a week now even through restarts and across multiple different computers. When playing bots, they don't make any move as white, or respond to my first move when they are black. I can analyze completed games, but I can't delve into sidelines past the single suggested moves the engine has in response to the moves I made in the game. The engine displays no recommended lines in a set up position regardless of depth, and these last two issues specifically also happen on that other chess site. It's like my PC doesn't allocate any of its resources to a chess engine anymore, but I never changed anything on my end AFAIK.

Any ideas?

Try changing the engine being used and see if that makes any difference.

I just tried both Torch options as well as Stockfish on the other site, all of which go into infinite loading regardless of how much memory is allocated or time given, even if only just a few seconds on this site's board analysis page.

I also tried clearing cache and restarting my PC per the FAQ's original response

Try clearing your Local Storage

You might search the browser you're using to see how to do that. A first check would be testing in a private or incognito tab first. If that works then it's possible there's a corrupted file there

Took me a sec to get it but I definitely cleared out all sections of my local storage, shown by the intro screen appearing again when i closed/reopened the browser. Unfortunately the bot still isn't moving, nor is the analysis analyzing. Though it didn't work that was still a cool trick i appreciate learning

I figured it out. I don't know exactly which Chrome plugin it was, but something had gotten corrupt and the problem worked itself out after I uninstalled a few plugins. Thank you again for trying to help with this!
