Sure. If you run your cursor next to the h1 square on the lower right hand corner of the board, a small diagonal 2 headed arrow pops up. The direction of one arrow shrinks it and the other enlarges. I think you have to hold down a mouse button at the same time, but it's been over a minute since I did it and now I forget (I'm old...). Fool around with it and you'll figure it out.
Board Too Big
I've tried to find that button, but it seems to move with the board, and in my case, the button is just out of my reach. Any other tips? If not, thank you for responding.
It's a major pain to use, but I'll tell you what I do. So you're moving your cursor around next to the h1 square and the little diagonal double headed arrow pops up, right? Now if you slowly move the cursor toward it, suddenly the cursor also turns into a double headed arrow. Center your cursor arrow on top of the board arrow and press your left mouse button. You should now be able to resize the board by moving the mouse while continuing to press the button. Can you imagine how proud the designer was of this? "Yep, I've designed a totally intuitive way to resize the board." Grrrrr....
And here's chess.com's take on it...

Good luck!
This is what my screen looks like. I've tried to find the button, but the h1 square is out of reach. It looks like I can, but It's not working.
Oh...Yeah the icon is approximately next to the base of the rook. I'm stumped. Try writing Support and include the screen shot. Probably take at least a week, but someone should know. Sorry I couldn't help.
What is your browser zoom percentage set at?
You should try another browser to see if this issue is browser related.
I started playing on a different OS recently, and now my board is too big for me to play without focus mode on. I tried to find the resize button, but it's not visible. I also tried zooming out, but that didn't work either. Can someone help?
