Blog game display too narrow ; cannot read Black's moves.

Displaying a blog, the "main column" is two-thirds of screen wide. Right one-third is blank & wasted. All text of blogger is readable. But the game diagrams are the problem. Board is complete, but moves are cut off on right. Sometimes only first char of Black's move is visible. Occasionally none of Blacks.

The column will not 'pull' wider with the mouse. Cannot find any setting to improve. This has been a problem for months, but finally got "fed up" when I couldn't read Keres' moves on simaginfans recent blog. Frustrating as almost one third of screen width is wasted.

System is ASUS laptop running Windows 10, HD color settings. Display is 1920 x 1080 , text size 150%.  Other apps appear fine.

How are you viewing the blogs? I'm not seeing any issues with the diagrams on blogs.

Place cursor on the "Friends" icon in extreme left column of chess.com Up comes a submenu in next column, from top : Friends, Clubs, Forums, etc. Click on Blogs and get the column titled Blogs, which is ~ two-thirds width of remaining screen. Click on one of the blogs and it fills that two-thirds

My Windows menu does use a thin vertical icon strip down the left side, but this is only about 60 pixels wide. I prefer a vertical menu as the aspect ratio of this screen is 16 x 9 rather than 16 x 10. If the overscan of an app is bothersome I simply narrow it slightly with the cursor. However the right edge of the chess.com Blogs window is far from the right edge of the screen.

Are you on the app on a tablet?

I have a tablet, but the problem is on an ASUS F556U 15" laptop with a core i3 processor using Windows 10. From Chrome it goes to a link chess.com/home.

The problem is not limited to the Blog app. Same thing occurs in News and Articles when a board is shown. Displayed column is not wide enough to show a board with the moves beside it. Part or all of Black's moves are cut off.

I recall many months ago your display changed slightly, at least of a board embedded in a blog, with game notation alongside. I believe the problem began then and I just put up with it.

I'll have to double check later on a full browser but I'm seeing the moves below the board on mobile desktop mode.

Thanks for your kind help. Many months ago the moves were below the board, but with the change they have been beside the board. Alongside seems better, if the software architect made the board a little smaller or the whole column a few pixels wider. Can I attach a pic ?

If you're using a browser you can attach an image.

So, the moves are on the right when on a full browser. In testing the issue is going to be due to your text size. I'll ask about that but my guess is the suggestion would be to decrease the text size or use the whole browser zoom option. The latter will roll to a moves on the bottom option when it get too large.

On other thing that might help is to click the Analysis option and view it on the Analysis board which will be larger overall but it's still going to start cutting off text.
