Why my puzzle rating keep going up while I keep on losing in games?

I heard that the best (only) way to improve chess for my level (1300+) is to do more puzzles. I persist in doing puzzles nearly every day. In the past 60 days, my puzzle rating increased from 2256 to 2442. However, in the meantime, I kept on losing in the games (30 or 15+10), down from 1400+ to nearly 1300. I also reviewed every game, which is also said to be an good way of improving chess.

Sometimes I told myself, maybe this is because I did not play enough games (about 100+ rapid games of all time). However, on the other hand, I watched the data of many other chess.com players who played thousands of games, and it is not likely that the rating increases with the number of games.

I thought I was doing the right thing: doing puzzles and reviewing games. But the results show that this is not the case. Do I miss something important? Could anyone help me?

Thanks a lot!

Update: Thanks very much for the comments and replies! Indeed, I am not asking why chess game is harder than puzzle, for which I have no doublt. I am feeling frustrated because one rating goes up while the other goes down. This means my previous understanding of learning chess was wrong @_@

In puzzle, you have to find best move for you. In a game, you have to find best move for you AND your opponent on EVERY turn.
