Go blow up ur mind with some metal and maybe drill rap
Why chess gives you depression
Go blow up ur mind with some metal and maybe drill rap
bro i just pick the nearest thing near me and give it a slap
but for me when I was tilted I opened a smurf and destroyed 3-digits (and got paired with a 1900 fortunately drew)
If you've ever played professional chess for maybe 2-3 years you've realised this by now. Lose three games in a row, and you will go on to tilt off another 50 odd points. Today I drew with some random 2300, barely survived. -3 points are almost nothing, so I unaffected played another game and duly lost in short order. Then went on to lose 3 more games, including one to a 2100. Let's just say my self from three years ago was playing these games. Then miraculously drew with someone I just lost the previous game to, and now here I am writing this. Comment down below if you tilt a lot. I know there will be many anti-aircraft guns ready to draft a lot of flak on this post, that's not a big deal. Hopefully I'll regain my rating and more importantly crawl out of this hole I buried myself into 😂
yes i lost in a winning position then i tilted and lost a like 150 elo in rapid thats make me very frustrating

What goes down usually goes up (in chess )

I've tilted from 2103 - 1803 in a week but in puzzle battle not actual games
i tilt a lot went from 2450 to 2150 elo in bullet
When did I have a game against you ? I was actually meaning to get others opinions on my play style anyway
The most iv tilted was almost 200 points (actually it wasn't even tilt it was just a 24 hour arena that I did that I'm never doing again ) at least in blitz chess maybe in actual tilt the most is 100 ish

the biggest general tilt I've had so far is only around 80 points
Your post is super relatable! Chess can definitely mess with your emotions, especially during those brutal losing streaks. The tilt is real, but it’s all part of the journey. I think many players have been in that 'buried myself in a hole' situation, but it's inspiring to see you’re determined to bounce back. Ratings come and go, but the experience and lessons from these rough patches stay with you forever. Good luck crawling out of that hole—I'm sure you'll come back stronger! 😊
