yep it was quite funny acutally, said they had a mod friend who would track me down.
reported them, they got banned. lol
There are a lot of young men here and puberty can be hard. Some of them are in puberty until the age of 35 and still live with their mom. 20 years of puberty are not easy to deal with.
You think its bad here, take a walk in the real world.
Before writing a message I have three logos of the worst social networks of notoriety (fakebook, X, Reddit) so I would never be surprised to know that there is a toxic population on chess.com
Folks on this site for the most part are not very sociable. I enjoy talking to players from other countries and do so on my other main site. Like the previous posts said either block them or report them.

Just turn off chat and all the mean people suddenly aren't mean anymore. Or at least they can't tell you how mean they are. One little switch flip in settings and all your problems are solved.

There are a few nice people on this site. Stay in contact with them, and do not hesitate to block racists, people who demean women, immature people and trolls. Instead of trying to collect hundreds of virtual "friends," get to know a few people and keep up with them.

Whether you're a social bird or a chess addict who doesn't even spend time on social media, you'll always encounter at least one unpleasant person. It's just how social media works, and you should ignore them when that happens.
