It was the same for me, but as you get better at rapid, meaning you get better at chess in general, the blitz rating will also improve

@LOSTATCHESS Check the rating. Probably 5 times or 10 times yours.
Blitz relies heavily on intuition, pattern recognition and quick decision-making. It doesn't give you the luxury of calculating long variations like in rapid or classical chess.
Calm down, rubber. A 200 elo difference is not meaningless. Dont worry though, op, you’ll improve.
