Why am I only matched with Indians?

I want to play against people from all over the world. I'm Icelandic and I get matched with indians 9 times out of 10.

Looking at your profile's game history, everyone can confidently say that you are wrong.

As of right now, you played a person with an Indian flag once out of the last 20 games.

Sometimes I get matched with Indians, sometimes I get matched with cowboys.

Maybe you were in an arena organized by an Indian club ? Otherwise it should just be proportional (modulo internet access and chess popularity): I guess India has 10 x more population than USA, so.... 🤷‍♂️

Probably has to do with the fact that India is the most populated country in the world, and chess is incredibly popular there.

I am trying to play someone from every country as well. Play the Blitz and Rapid tournaments, that's how I have played people from over 80 countries so far.

But you've played Americans multiple times....but heaven forbid you play multiple people from India. Every game is a chance to improve and learn.

I would imagine that if 10% of the accounts are from any specific country then you will be matched up virtually the same percentage of time. Country of origin cannot possibly by part of the criteria involved in setting a match.

Have you had any suspicious games? maybe youre in the cheater's pool for whatever reason.
