Saying Magnus is one of your least favorite players makes me assume you don't know chess, and don't know many chess players. Also having some self pride isn't a bad thing especially for Magnus since he is consistently performing in a highly competitive environment.

That's not a "little" self pride by the way. He is very proud of himself and boastful. Look you may have all the power in the world but even then you have to be humble. Look at Gukesh he is so humble

He can be boastful and have some self pride but it's all in good manner. Also Gukesh is pretty humble but at the same time he hasn't been in the spotlight as long as Magnus and also hasn't been as dominant as Magnus comparing there humbleness would just be pointless considering those factors.

Vishy has also been in the spotlight for quite long. He is also very humble not like Magnus. Plus magnus has no respect for his opponents. He always arrived late to the game thanks to his whatever "psychological tactics" and also when he wins he never holds himself back like a respectful sportsman would. He just bursts in laughter not caring at all for the other opponent feelings

I don't want to spend my time pointlessly arguing with you but what you are saying is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I found this, and you three are rude.

Me? Rude? what have I done. I am allowed to have my disagreements, especially towards other peoples opinions.

I think you're atmost mentally 10 years old. You do not make reasonable arguments. All you do is attack my opinion and talk bad but not say WHY you think my opinion is invalid. You don't make any points backing up your opinion either. You just want beef and attention. People like you don't deserve respect. Please don't return to this thread ever again. I'm blocking you anyway so if you reply I wouldn't be able to see

I know you are saying you won't see this but for anyone else seeing this I want them to know what you are saying right now is even more ridiculous than the last statement you made. 1. I barely even talked to you and now you are saying things like "people like you don't deserve respect" like what? You don't even know me. 2. "Attack your opinion" those words seem a bit harsh. I simply had a disagreement with you on how Magnus isn't that cocky and yes he can be a bit prideful and boastful but it's all in good spirits. 3. I don't think your opinion was that invalid I just think the comparison of humbleness between Magnus and Gukesh can't be properly compared as Magnus has been in the spotlight and more dominant longer than Gukesh. I don't want beef, I am simply disagreeing with you and it seems as if you are a very closed-minded person not open to thinking about what other people have to say. 4. I am not 10 and personally I don't think I have said anything stupid enough to even considered being closed. If anything that sentence is the rudest thing that has been exchanged throughout our entire conversation with eachother.

Sorry for saying you were rude. Anyways, @Noob8337 is annoying you, and you should leave this forum alone, like he did. I'm not saying you should ignore it though.

I am annoying nobody. I have my right to place my opinion and I am doing just that. How is that your problem by the way? Who even are you? I don't remember debating or talking with you at all? Then why don't you mind your own business instead of interfering in our debate

Why do you think Magnus is jealous of Gukesh winning?

I never said anything along the lines of Magnus being jealous of Gukesh winning.

Ian and Magnus were not happy when Gukesh won that means they were jealous

Wrong. Magnus has publicly said his congratulations to Gukesh on his victory. Also Nepo has always been praising young talent and I have yet to see anything come from him that says anything remotely negative about Gukesh and his victory.

Oh and about Nepo. If you dig enough you will find a video in youtube where nepo loses to a opponent and disrupts the chess pieces throwing them here and there instead of handshaking like a good sportsman. Why should I not resent Nepo? Him congratulating Gukesh doesn't change the fact that he doesn't respect his opponents

And by the way you have agreed yourself that Magnus does have some self pride and ego. That's exactly why I don't like him. It's simple. Magnus is a great player and stuff but his big ego and lack of humbleness ruins it all. That's not a true sportsman

Every chess player is good, at least they worked hard for their chess titles so everyone should praise them, right?

I agree but for some of them their bad attitude or their wrong doings ruin it all

Hans Niemann Moke is my least favorite. Some call him Madman but he just rages to much I think and if I'm wrong please let me know.

Tal? Someone is definitely trying to be different. Well mine are Victor Korchnoi and Hans Niemann.

Shame on you! Korchnoi was a chess god and rocked!

Biggest loser in all of chess:

- Couldn't play in front of an audience and would only play in a private room and did not even show up round 2.

- Refused to play in the match to defend his title leading to a win by forfeit.

- Claims unsoundness in the opening he had the worst record against, the Winawer French

Yes, I am referring to Bobby Fischer. The Adolf Hitler of chess!

Honorable mention: the guy who blocked me after he tried to do Scholar's Mate on me and (as per usual) got thoroughly trounced, even after I accidentally hung my queen while he kept his for the whole game.

Sorry that I hurt your feelings and bruised your precious ego, dude. Maybe you should try learning a real opening.

Who was the guy

Naming and shaming is frowned upon by the mods, so I won't tell it here. Look at my recent games and you'll be able to tell which one it is.
