Im not talking about fide to USCF. Im talking about US fide compared to other countries
For ex, my friend, who is 2000 fide, mainly got that rating from germany, but in USCF he is only 2000-2100 which means that his fide is supposed to be lower

I think I was higher when you posted this, but fell lower in February. After an event in May, however, I am back over 1860.

Likely. He’s young.
Yeah the US isn’t the only country with frequently (wildly) inaccurate FIDE ratings but it’s definitely pretty pronounced.
Once you get strong enough to be invited to norm tournaments, maybe it gets a bit less screwy. But I don’t foresee myself ever playing those
