But Stockfish claims Fischer played more precisely than Carlsen.

Wikipedia claims that Fischer reached 2905(?) if ELO would have been introduced earlier and the best Carlsen ever was is 2885, so if thats true, then Fischer as his best would have just the slighest advantage over Carslen at his best.

I would be interested in knowing what Magnus Carlsen himself thinks. Both have achieved amazing feats. If I had to guess, I would venture to say that out of 10 games Bobby Fisher would probably prevail, but honestly, sometimes when a player is challenged by a better player, they rise to the occasion, so we’ll never absolutely know. If Magnus had played against FISCHER, maybe they would’ve tied a lot. But again, Magnus probably knows better than any of us, by studying Bobby Fisher, and watching his games if he would’ve been better. Ego might not let him admit it, but he’s played 10 games blindfolded, so he’d probably be the best at discerning whether Bobby FISCHER‘s a hair better than him or not.
