Nepo will win the Candidates third in a row.

Nepo is destined to become greatest player who failed to win championship.

Nepo is incredibly far away from that. Viktor Korchnoi was number 2 for a decade (and challenged Karpov 3 times in a row). Nepo was number 2 for some short time a couple of occasions.

Nepo is young and has plenty of mileage to his chess career

He's the same age as Carlsen. Nowadays, 33-34 is not "young" even in chess.

He's 33. For most players, that's the downward slope. And while I wouldn't wouldn't overread recent results, his tournaments over the last year or so don't exactly seem like evidence that he's in line for a big leap.

Not that I'd be shocked to see him win, but he's hardly the odds-on favorite. Maybe a 15% chance at best.

Probably Pragg, hopefully Fabi but anyone except Nepo will be ok.

Fabi and nepo are the favourite imo, but with these young Indian minds coming in, it will be a hell of a battle!

I am more interested in the candidates than the WCC itself lol.

I find it more fun to watch. For one thing, there’s always four — or this year eight — games going on at once, so even if some are dull, there’s always drama somewhere.

I prefer Nepo to win Candidate. Storyline is the best.
