Hello everyone! l just wanted to know your styles of playing chess so tell me who are you in chess!!
1. Warrior- They love to fight and never resign!! They don't defend- only attack and play gambits to open up lines for their rook. They use openings like Queen's lndian, danish gambit, budapest gambit etc.
2. Doctor- These compassionate players defend everything in their army. They rarely attack and play calm openings like english opening. If their structure is destroyed then they always heal it.
3. Blacksmith- These players usually make structures before attacking or defending. They open up lines and make pyramids and obviously castle early. Openings like King's Fianchetto is perfect for them.
4. Monarch- By the name you might have already guessed that these players always use their Queens and Kings. The conquer a piece of land ( files) and use their slaves ( pawns) to take over it.
5. The Dark Force- It is unknown what they will do next! Will they defend? Will they create a structure? Will they dance? They do everything in a game and their attacks are covered by a fog (decoy) but they often blunder.
6. The lone wolf- These players use only one or two pieces in a excellent way so they torture they enemy.
7. The monster- They always are hungry! Killing more and more pieces they don't usually checkmate, they make others resign! Unluckily their greed usually leads to stalemate.
8. Merchant- They always trade until they get a better position!
9. Peasant- They play a medium and simple game with nothing exciting. They usually play till the middlegame only following what they learnt and book moves so they rarely blunder.
10. Jester- They confuse their enemy with decoys, offbeat openings and sacrifices! They enemy doesn't notice till they are mated!
11. Dancer- Their pieces dance around the board systematically and their brilliant steps (moves) lead to a win!
12. Artist- They have classical and beautiful openings but they are likely to draw ( plan) them first before terminating their masterpiece. They calculate really nicely!
12. Police- They trap and jail the enemy's pieces and usually use minor pieces but when their is a serious crime ( capture) they send they commander ( queen).
13. Miners- They mine ( open up files) a way towards the enemy territory and take gold ( pieces). Their favourite pieces are rooks and their favourite place to mine in the seventh rank.
14. Maniac- These players do anything to win and are unpredictable! They usually send their pieces wild on the board in a way nothing can stop them!! The only people who can are the police and their madness blunders them into a trap!
15. Scientist- The are making dangerous new openings and tactics to win! They use their science tools ( tactics)like x-rays, windmills and open ranks to win! They are the smartest and always calculate their moves! But they can't see what the opponent is playing so the dark force defeats them!!
16. Witch- Unlike scientists instead of using tactics in the book they prefer to brew up their own tactics and use their pieces more then their spells ( tactics)
17. Dog- Always loyal and respecting their enemy and literally the only people who says good game they put up a good fight and usually chase minor pieces but they never resign!!
18. Student- Instead of playing their own game they always analyse their opponents moves while they are playing. They study world championships a lot so the usually play games masters have played before. They have excellent memory.
19. The Romantic*- They usually use ideas from the Renaissance and the Enlightment and they are emotional. They play in a old- fashioned way but their pieces work together always!!
* The romantics were real people in the Renaissance who made ideas to have a happier life.
20. Snake- They use tactics that haunt their opponents throughout the game! For example poisoned pawns are their favourite way of fighting! They make a sacrifice or trades or simply a move that will affect they opponent in a bad way for the entire game! Like opening up a file or making the opponent have a isolated piece it haunts the opponent for the game while the snake will swoop in to checkmate!
21. Monkey- Always annoying the enemy, the monkey gives millions of checks or attacks to a piece which makes it undeveloped and the monkey checkmates soon after!
22. Octopus- Always giving many attacks like the arms of the octopus, they use knights and queens to attack many places!
23. The animal- It uses any attack a animal can do! These rare players are unknown since they use different tactics all the time!
24. Ant- They are hardworking, patient and sincere. They might take a lot of time and hard work and sacrifices but in always turns out good for the ant. They develop pieces and have closed positions.
25. Ogre- They use brute force to win! They always attack but they are often reckless on how the attack.
26. The Mysterious- They use all the personalities given above! They are the most rare and unpredictable!
So with these 26 styles tell me which one do you use the most!
I identify quite a bit with 5,22 and 10,but let me explain that I have diverse tactics,depending if play Black or Whites,who is the rival,or simple need to experiment other ways.
