What has happened to the scoring system in Chess.com

So i have been gone from chess.com for a couple of months and when I return the players that I usually play turn from stupid to extremely good, even now 400 players are playing at a 1000 level, how do I know? Because I before taking a break from chess.com was playing at that level of 1000. Are people using the AI or have the Devs changed the code to make players scores fall down drastically?

please respond

Nothing has changed and it's likely you're just out of practice and will get back into the swing of things

It's possible some of your opponents are underrated as well. That said, if you think any of your opponents are using disallowed resources you should report them.

You're not imagining it. Five years ago when I started on Chess.com, the average Blitz rating was 1008. Today, the average rating is 628. Clearly, this shows a defective scoring/rating system for Blitz on Chess.com. On a personal level, my scores would confirm this.

Not exactly beginners are getting stronger more quickly than before it isn't a defective rating system rather it shows that beginners are getting better at lower elos

So yes he's not imagining it but he's probably really out of practice to cause sometimes long breaks can help otherwise it makes your chess very very very sloppy I would recommend taking a step back and realize what you need work in (like if your endgames are sloppy ) for example ,or do you suck at conversion can you not win up a queen (most 400s cant ),can you win down a queen (if no you might want to rethink learning how to win from lost positions and how to create counterplay)

Same this is happening to me. I took a break last year and was at 894 on rapid. Now Iā€™m 465
