Interesting, but at my current skill level, I think it'll just be a waste of time.

I love the idea but unless free no way many ppl below 1000 will want to waste their money( it would be a waste for them cos they would never get a good game

It’s perfect for players at your level, as it allows you to identify your weaknesses and work on them.

Currently, you’re playing against opponents rated under 2000 online. Even if you make a positional mistake, they often won’t exploit it, leading you to repeat the same mistake over and over!

The concept of paying per minute is insane. Sometimes moves can be made in 3 seconds, other times you need minutes to think when it is a crucial position. I'd pay a coach for their wisdom, not their time. How much do those crucial positions cost? That's where and how they should be charging.

The price is paid per game. For example, if a titled player sets the rate at $1 per minute, a 10-minute game would cost $10. Similarly, if you choose a 1-minute game, it would cost $1, and so on.

The price is fixed based on the time control of the game. I agree that this approach allows you to pay for the titled player's expertise, and with longer time controls, the titled player has more time to think and make better decisions.

As a player rated under 1000, you will learn and improve significantly. You’ll enhance your opening skills, develop a better understanding of logic in chess, and learn the reasons behind your losses. It’s an excellent opportunity for everyone, especially lower-rated players.

Right now, you’re playing against lower-level opponents, and even if you blunder, they often don’t notice it. As a result, your game doesn’t improve.

A titled player provides feedback, helping you improve and work on your weaknesses. While a computer can tell you which moves are good or bad, it cannot explain why. Understanding the reasoning behind moves is crucial in chess; it’s not just about memorizing, but truly understanding game.
Thank you for feedback!

I like how the original post says NOTHING about money. Chess.com is well within their right to say NO unless they get a cut, which would then raise the price.

I suggest you charge per game and the titled player would give a review after it is done. There is no need to ask for lichess or chess.com site help, just have people sign onto either site and start the game.

I agree with you; However, we’re confident they would prefer that games be played on Chess.com rather than on other platforms. Ultimately, it’s up to them. Their API is open for certain requests, and it can be used without needing additional approval.

that happy.png emoji thing always gives me the creeps. It looks like it will team with some 2200 rated player to destroy the world
