how good did you do?

cR1NN

My best was in the Murfreesboro Open right before Covid-19. With a 1373 uscf and 1600 online blitz rating, I somehow managed to beat two 1700s and two 1800s (losing my fourth game to another 1800). So I ended up going from 1373 -> 1618.

Optimissed

In my best tournaments I played at about 2120 FIDE. That happened maybe twice. Our ratings in GB/UK were only adjusted once a year, over an average of maybe 80 or 100 games in that year. My biggest raring jump was about 200 FIDE equivalent, over a year. So I would have won them with four and a half  out of five against players near the grading limit for the tournament. I won others but in most tournaments you get to play a lower rated payer.
