So unlucky

Sort:
agustinrombola

Every time I lose, I do it when my opponent hits, AT LEAST, 90% accuracy.

I am so unlucky to play ALWAYS when my rival has their best game ever....

(So shameful this site has zero worries about this 'strange' behaviours, i'm watching my language so they don't close this thread)

is anyone this unlucky or am i just the only one who's snakebitten? xD

PS: I am with you, Magnus! xDDD

No one can win all the time and anyone can get accuracies in the 90's, at least occasionally. I have some in the games I've ran reviews on. Of course, if you rarely run reviews on your wins, it may seem like it's not possible to get.

Wow, I thought I was the unluckiest player here, but it seems we’ve got a club forming! Speaking of bad luck, let me show you what real chess heartbreak looks like—check out my post about finishing 4th twice in a row despite scoring 6/7: When Someone Asks Me How Unlucky Can You Be. The tiebreak gods and I clearly have unresolved issues!

There is no “being unlucky” in chess

You determine your fate on the chess board. There is no lucky or unlucky here, its how you play.

Clearly, you haven’t read my post. Trust me, after you do, you might start believing that 'being unlucky in chess' is practically my brand!

Cheating accusations are not allowed. Also they are pathetic.

Totally agree with you—cheating accusations are off-limits and, frankly, pathetic. But let’s not mix things up here. The OP’s post is about accusations and being unlucky, while mine is strictly about the art of coming 4th and being unlucky. Clearly, we just have different flavors of unluckiness. Also, I was being sarcastic—something you might’ve missed. Or maybe you just haven’t read my post.
