Is there any way to remove or decline the rating bump I got from a game where my opponent resigned after 3 moves? (no idea why, his opening was fine, maybe he just wanted to quit, but it was a daily game so kinda odd).
Lately I've been frustrated with the chess.com rating system because about 10% of players just decide to resign or abandon for whatever reason, which increases my rating when it really shouldn't - so if I play opponents at my rating I seem to lose 75-80% of the games. Either I'm getting worse, opponents are getting better, or the rating system adjusts too slowly / gets unfairly influenced by tossed games.
I understand not being able to remove a lost game, but surely there's no harm in declining the rating increase from a won game? (would allow me to correct games that I didn't really win)
No, there's nothing like that. After a few games any rating gain is going to have no impact on your later rating at that point anyway.
