Playoff mode with 28 players, regular season, seeded playoffs

So you start with say 28 players and each player plays games during a regular season of games and then you get seeded into the playoffs where each player plays a 7 game series against whoever they were seeded against and it goes down from 28 players to 14, 7, etc until the championship series. What do you think?
