This is why we need to keep stalemate as a rule.

It was such an easy victory for my opponent as well, but they thought they were teaching me a lesson by keeping the game going, all they did was enable me to achieve stalemate.

@urkedcrow that's exactly what my opponent foolishly tried to do. In reality they should have just gone for mate as soon as possible.

News just in, my opponent has offered to show the game on his YouTube channel to promote the dangers of elongating games unnecessarily.

@urkedcrow it isn't dull. You see most people would have just mated me in that situation, but my opponent had the deluded idea he was teaching me a lesson and messed it up giving me the draw. It's so satisfying.

@rychessmaster I completely missed that knight run towards the rook, was too busy trying to force a king side attack

Missing ND8 I get that, but you shoulda seen his idea after he played Nd8 

When you're blinkered and in tunnel vision with the attack, every defensive move is not a priority.

This is why you don't have to promote three quenns if it's not needed
