ok the title's a little but clickbait, if your gambit or a weird opening  makes me lose a queen I will not play it, a  good example would be something like this, I will post the games in this forum

weird opening :

Gambit :

Batman, I have the thing just for you.

Ladies but mostly Gentlemen: The Batmobile:

My own system - the Batmobile can spread one or both of its wings - h4, a4, followed by Nh3, Na3. It's usually easily blocked, but if your opponent tries to push his pawns to the 5th rank, the bishops became active. - The most import thing - The Batmobile gives your queen lots of options - unlike other systems, so the opponent needs to be careful, but so do you - the king don't have many good places to be in. (Unless you think that "The Fortress" (Nf3, g2,Bg3,0-0) is safe - I personally think it isn't - h5 comes too quickly). I had mixed results with it.
Good luck Batman.

Val Kilmer would be proud of me,  and not to mention Bruce Wayne. Chess masters probably less impressed..

* It's a "Waiting Game" system. You wait for opportunities to jump. Knights don't have to go to a3 & h3, you can wait with them as well. (It's only 2 moves from castling to each side, what will the opponent do to you in One move!?)

The Batmobile is almost impossible to make a draw with (I played about 5 games with it), the question is - who's winning...

Here's a gambit that I currently play. It's actually a ton of fun if you can get a big positional advantage.

(Halloween gambit btw)

I'd call it "The King's-Gambit".

Batman, I assume you're a 1.e4 player (since you like gambits), I have noticed (by a database), that if someone plays the "Scandinavian" against you, you may as well force a "Blackmar Gambit" on him...

I have a cheap trick called the "Steiner", for Black, it goes like that:

White thinks "well, he'll play the Marshall Attack, I'm ready for it...

Yes, you go e4. His best & most natural move is to take your knight:

At some point, your opponent will have to play the very non-humane move Re3, I only saw one game in which someone actually did it.

From experience, people fall for it - they expect the normal Marshall Attack.

From this position, if your opponent isn't ready, a usual reaction is:

Here, instead of taking your rook, he's suppose to play Re3... but, they don't...

If you're White, you may want to try the anti-boring "Rio Attack":

If you can beat a computer with it, you don't have to surprise your opponent - even if he knows that gambit, it's winning. (against programs at least - which have no sense of danger.. unlike your opponent, well.. life ain't perfect).

And of horse, there's my special - Roast Spleen:

This isn't a gambit - it's computer-checked - you're just winning (in general, after 4.Ng5?, you're already winning).

though apparently the computer gives this as only -1.5 for black, so it's not as bad as some of the other "trick" openings

Only -1.5? I swear it should be more.

I wish you much success playing the twin rooks gambit, double-isolated attack variation

Brett_T_Kruskie

You should try "The Toilet Gambit"
