Major Problem With Live Chess

yep - we aren't making it a major part of the site because it is still in sandbox mode. there are too many bugs to make it all that fun. and things like timestamping, draw recognition, etc keep it from being viable.

we appreciate those of you who do go in and play because it gives us data on how people use it and we can test new code. but as soon as it is ready we will unleash it entirely and then we will have a lot of people playing live :) trust me.

If finding opponents at random is a problem, perhaps we could buddy up in a most un-random fashion.

I get the same error messages as PawnFork!

The only problem I experience on live chess concerns changing the board size.

I like to play with the large board, but this means that the window for entering "chat" is off the bottom of the screen. I end up being able to see what the other guy says, but unable to respond. I suspect some of my opponents have got me down as a rather rude individual.
