yes you are right ---i move too fast trying to save time so i can at a latter date play more slowly but it gets in me in problems most times --- i can win on time when i play 3 min games about every third time --but not 5 min games they are too long and my opponents are smarter than me so i lose game after game even players with 100- 125 seem to way ahead of me in traps' forks etc and other things i know nothing about
studying the lesson part of this site is fun but it does not help me in any way game form -- the lessons do not deal with how to win or at east how to not lose they just show scenarios that i never see in my games at least -- puzzles are the same i love to do them every day but the ones they show never turn up in my games -- maybe they are meant for higher level player's games -- but i never see those in mine -- well couple more games and a lesson before lunch and my med afternoon nap -- see what it has to impart on me --
A thing you need to work on is that you move too fast. Some moves in 1 second, most after about 3 seconds. At your level thats not enough to make sure you're not blundering. The blunder checks:
1.After opponents move, make sure if he is now sttacking something or not
2. Before you make your move: make sure you dont place the piece in a position it can be taken for free.
These cannot be done in 1 second which means you arent doing it. Take your time with every move.
