I think the term comes from twitch streamer xQc, here is the definition https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.urbandictionary.com/define.php%3fterm=Juicer&=true

Expanding on that for Hikaru a juicer is a piece that is valuable for the opponent. More generally a juicer is whatever you want it to be. It is the thing for you with which you can extract “the juice”. The juice is the essence of life, the sweet drink that releases dopamine in your brain.

And when he promotes he says "make a grill"

tintazul

So Hikaru eats horsemeat? (Promotes pawn to horsey = makes a grill) haha

I don't think there is a very formal definition for what a "juicer" is since people say that it can be anything, but in terms of Hikaru's usage, it basically is the synonym for "piece".

I thought it was the bishop, since the top looks like one of those old manual juicer shapes. lol

Almost certain a "juicer" is a free piece you can take

"The juice is whatever you make it. It can be anything. Nobody can define what it is for you, you know what the juice is right. For me, like sometimes, I think the juice is whenever I win I Pop Off right... maybe your juice is when you do a nice piece of art."

You don't need a juicer though if you do things with a full send.

Juicer - a piece or pawn that can be captured without fear of any consequences
