I agree, it's not that hard.
Is the Killer King advancement actually that hard?
I agree, it's not that hard.
yes, but do you know any easy trick to get castle victory advancement?
as castling is done early and if not done in endgame when you checkmate you may not be able to because either their is check or something is moved.
Many people think that how can a king even checkmate? and many do not even know about this advancement as it appears after you get it.
But, actually it is not that hard because if you have ever seen a situation in the endgame where the opponent does not have any pieces except the king and you have some pawns then you can very easily get it by following these steps.
- First of all try to promote 2 pawn into a queen or a rook. like you do normally to win
- Then keep checking with one rook/queen till their king is on the edge of the board
-Now you could checkmate by moving your other rook/queen but as we are trying to get the killer king so move your king to the same file as theirs.
- now move your rook behind your king and after your opponent moves you move the king and checkmate!
As it was a discovery checkmate made by the move of the king so you have succefully got the tricky ,killer king advancement.
Hope it was helpful.
