nvm, im highkey stupid
Is the evaluation hating on me, or am i just too low elo to comprehend?
chessmasteryoffical makes alot of sense-- one key thing after a losing game not the whole mess at once --- i will try that thinking line of thought thanks for the tip
You mean the Queen move? It gives away a pawn for nothing. Always think about what your planned move changes and if your opponent can exploit it.
ChessMastery is right, focus on one thing after the other. Like in the opening, can you explain why you attack white's e4-pawn with your f-pawn instead of your d-pawn? Imo the d-pawn is a lot better because it opens your light square sniper bishop for development and it is defended, whereas the f-pawn doesn't help development, weakens your king and again you give it away for "free" (there may be a gambit line there but I doubt that was your plan).
You could also prepare d5 by playing pony to f6 first, further defending the d5 square and then placing your pawn there, just an idea (maybe not a grandmaster idea but it would at least follow opening principles).
