I think it's a little offbeat, never played it myself. If you have fun with it and don't think it's holding you back, why not play it?

I play Reti for couple of weeks now, only for a change... And I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. Big downside is that you surrender the center to your opponent and leave him with many good options to respond with and that makes it way harder for you to prepare or memorize anything (for future games), because every game will be completely different and very likely chaotic and wild too.

It's fine. It depends on your taste, really.

If you want a slow positional game, go for it.

If you're more of an aggressive player, don't play the Reti.

#6 you can play Reti very aggressive too. My friend plays it very aggressive.

I like it, but there are some more aggressive and stronger openings out there.

RΓ©ti opening is not very good for beginners. You should study 1.e4 e5 openings, it is much more fun.
