Is aborting games when opponent is time-out aborting allowed?

Both are treated similarly but if you allow it to time out, your opponent gets flagged for that. If you abort, you get flagged for aborting.
Dude, how low is your patience that you can't wait 30 seconds?

Okay that makes sense, no worries then, will just wait for them to time out from now on.

I am perfectly capable of waiting 30 seconds; my question was regarding why I should have to and if the opponent would be discouraged from making me wait.

Hey, so I am just wondering. When you start a game, and your opponent doesn't make their first move, the abort timer comes on, and it is clear they are going to abort the game but are forcing you to wait the full 30 seconds. Will you be penalized for aborting that game yourself?
It has happened a lot recently where I start up a game, and my opponent just never makes their first move. I have started aborting the game myself when I see this happening instead of waiting the full 10-30 seconds, but now I am getting messages saying I am aborting games too often, and it's against fair play.
It seems stupid that you're allowed to force your opponent to wait 30 seconds to start their next game, and if they leave before the time runs out, they get penalized?
