I think my 800 elo opponents play better than my 800 elo friend opponents

he had played way more less game than me and he get opponents who has played less game too and I thinks they play bad . can it be real?
Probably because you get friends with people of similar style.
And it's always harder to play against people of different style, you need to get used to it.
