I just made an account yesterday and I got 1.6k rapid rating and almost 2k bullet rating.

I usually play chess irl but I made my account to play when I'm not home. I'm the lowest rank in the game and got 1.6k rapid rating and almost 2k bullet rating. Why is that?

The site uses the Glicko rating system that includes a measure of rating uncertainty called the rating deviation (RD) value. Players with few games in a rating pool will have a higher RD and see larger rating changes after games.

As more games are played, the RD value decreases as does the magnitude of rating changes

Leagues have no impact on pairing but some members abort games against newer members

I did that to the only other thing was watch YouTube videos or play guest games (bullet I suck at but blitz was 1600 in about a month or two after I warmed up to chess.com players)

No offense that is a bit sus tho even if you played games before hand you wouldn't be that could at bullet fast playing fast is not the same as playing well I could understand why people abort
