That's what they say. Never seen anyone sitting on their hands in an OTB tournament...

Tarrasch recommended it to control impulses.
Many kids do it as their coaches tell them so.

Put on glasses. Thats how I beat a 2200 IM once in 15+10 otb.

Put on glasses. Put two hands on your face when thinking. Sigh repeatedly.

Not really, it's just that I always do it when I find a rly good move but wanna make the opp think he's winning.
