How to improov?

Here one advice that will help you improve 500 points of your strategic chess:

1) Place your pieces in the center of the board.

2) Place your pieces in the center of the board.

3) Place your pieces in the center of the board.

That is by far the most important and very easy to remember chess rule.

Unfortunately, while playing, we are very often distracted by other concerns, however, if on every move you abide by that rule, your chess will improve magically.

Center of the board ard squares e4, d4, e5, d5. If you place your pieces in the center of the board, opponent very probably will take them with his pawns.

Lynakos I think you should have consider the way he spoke to you despite some people trolling you for your mistakes in english he supported you . I don't think you should judge someone based on his elo but his personality, and actually I think so that his advice wasn't that bad at your level where mostly calculative mistakes and tactical mistakes are made which causes the most blunders . I think you should choose a specific youtube channel of your choice and watch the videos for gaining knowledge and learning new gambits . Mainly playing with bots would affect your performance as they aren't humans most bots play below they rating level so I would recommend to play in online and maybe with a higher time control like 10/5 or 15/10 . I'm 16 year old and I give approx 1 hour to chess daily which I think is enough for me and i just try to set a goal to gaining 100 elo + each month which I'm doing perfectly by just following the above methods and it doesn't affects my study.

I personally think playing alot everyday is consuming too much time. I would prefer studying and learning new concepts...

Hi everyone. I am 15 and have played many games. Still continue to do so. But I am not satisfied with the improovment I’ve made… I have decide to stop playing games against real people but instead I would play against bots. I will memorise and learn opening theory. Im fond of d file openings. I will also practice alot of endgames and puzzles for pattern recognishon. Please let me know any good resources for this. tank you!!!!!!!!!!

Switching from playing people to playing bots will not only retard your progress, but will send you backwards.
