how to get to 1500 rapid

What are some good lines or tactics to breach 1500 rapid, i recently achieved 1500 bullet so i would like my rapid to be 1500 too. 

Youve barely played rapid and won the majority of your games the past month and all the past week. Play right now, you might already be 1500

Analyze your games.
Study games of strong players.
Learn how to be more psychologically resilient.
Work on your time management skills.
Get a coach if you can.

I'm no expert but am at the brink of 1500 rapid. I stopped playing online a few years ago and focused on OTB playing. Since I came back, I'm doing much better. A few things I worked on (in order of importance):

1. Stopped hanging pieces by taking a minute at the end of each turn to run through them quickly. This was the biggest thing.

2. Worked on my tactics/combinations. If you are a good bullet player, you probably already have this down. I can't play bullet or even short timeframe rapid games, as I just need time to think.

3. Take a moment, even with the clock running, to develop at least a vague strategy and aim my tactics in that direction.

4. Through a lot of OTB play, figure out a few first good moves against most of the common openings in either color. And if it's something really bookish, I often then make an offbeat move to try to move the game to tactics.

You'll probably get many more useful/expert answers, but that's what is working for me.
