Stockfish says I missed mate-in-9 but still, I WIN A QUEEN. How is this not a great move…

I'm didn't say this wasn't a good move, I said it wasn't a Great! move. It's good in my book, and innacuracy in the engine's.

it is a valid argument because it is a computer rating the moves and there is only so many factors you can program it to account for in order for it to make judgements about 'great' moves.

great moves are roughly defined as when you basically have one good move and you played it.

I'm didn't say this wasn't a good move, I said it wasn't a Great! move. It's good in my book, and innacuracy in the engine's.

this is the part where you stop caring about the engines opinion because

1. your move was simple

2. it made winning easier

so it's good enough
