Has Martin gotten smarter?

I tried beating him while he had 3 rows plus a back row of queens while I had a normal setup which Gotham Chess can do. A couple of my friends used to be able to do it as well and they are my level. I once beat him while he had all those queens. Now today when I tried the furthest I got was ten moves and then BAM, checkmate. I'm pretty sure he's gotten smarter, what do you guys think?
Yes I have also noticed that he sometimes pins pieces and he will take queen no matter what happens
